TRAV’S FAVORITE DRINK

( would this work for storage aboard the Busted Flush?)

During the hot weather you may want to enjoy Trav's favorite drink.

To make thE McGee Drink fill an old fashioned glass to the two-thirds line with cracked ice. Slosh dry sherry into glass. Swiftly, with strainer across top of glass, dump the sherry.

Fill to the ice level with Plymouth Gin (imported). Rub lemon peel around inside of rim, pinch some floating beads of citrus oil on the surface of the drink.

Throw away the peel.

And imagine you are on the Busted Flush, miles away from the hum of the big city, lost in your thoughts as the boat moves gracefully through the water.

I have read over the years so many thoughts by readers about Plymouth Gin ( and its opponent , Boodles,) that I decided dig out the stuff I got from Plymouth Gin for the 1996 JDM Conference.

The U.S. Public Relations contact and I worked together and she came to the Conference with airplane-sized bottles of Plymouth to give to those who had registered, and also several large bottles of Plymouth we raffled of over the weekend. ( I admit that one large one is in our drinks cabinet!)

She also had folders with information about Plymouth Gin. Here are a couple of the items included.
